Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of merf.social and the Merf publishing software (the “Service”), operated by Merf Social. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Merf is a software tool that lets you connect social media accounts you own or are authorized to manage (such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube) and publish or schedule your own content to them from a single dashboard, using each platform's official API. Merf does not provide followers, views, or engagement, does not post to any account you have not connected and authorized, and does not guarantee any specific result. Outcomes depend on your content and the platforms' own algorithms, which are outside our control.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Ensuring you own or are authorized to manage every social media account you connect to the Service.
• Providing accurate and current information.

You agree not to upload, publish, or schedule content that:

• Infringes intellectual property or other rights of any party.
• Is unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or sexually explicit.
• Contains malware, spam, or attempts to manipulate users fraudulently.
• Is published to accounts you do not own or are not authorized to manage.
• Violates the terms of any platform you connect to the Service.

We may refuse, remove, or suspend publishing of any content that violates these Terms.

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant Merf a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and publish that content to the accounts you connect, solely to provide the Service (for example, storing a video and sending it to a platform's API at your direction). You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.

We offer a 7-day free trial that does not require a credit card. After the trial, paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment provider.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• Prices may change with notice; changes apply at your next renewal.
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of your current billing period. Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Refund Policy.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not responsible for changes to, or the availability of, third-party platform APIs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Merf shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
